Howard Berg, MD, of Specialists In Otolaryngology is a leading provider of high-quality ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care for patients of all ages. As a board-certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Berg has spent the last 30 years providing safe and effective medical care to the community of West Orange, New Jersey.
Dr. Berg and his team take an individualized, conservative approach, taking the time to understand the specific needs of each patient. In addition to a full range of essential ENT services, the practice also offers aesthetic and reconstructive services like facioplasty, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty.
Dr. Berg attended New York University School of Medicine in New York where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. After completing his education, Dr. Berg completed his Internship at Montefiore/Einstein Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Berg completed his Residency in Otolaryngology at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York. Additional training included a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at NYU Medical Center in New York.

I went to Dr. Berg for a post nasal drip problem that I've had for as long as I can remember that caused me to cough uncontrollably every morning. Saw other ENTs who told me nothing could be done. It has gotten chronic and all day since I had COVID back in March and that caused me to try him as a last resort. He gave me a new nasal spray and Singulair for the cough and it's only been a week but it's considerably better. Thank god I found somebody who actually listens. My experience with him is reminiscent of the great old docs who used to make house calls from years past. They really care. Thank you Dr. Berg!!!Barry S.
Dr. Berg's office was very organized and ready for my last-minute visit (I only made the appointment in the morning for 2:15 PM that afternoon since my situation required immediate attention). Dr. Berg came in, and he listened carefully to my recent health history and other health matters. He examined me and diagnosed the required treatment sending me out of the office with prescriptions to be filled and his direction to come back to see him if my symptoms were not resolved.
